"AMT Deora custom truck"

I've been wanting this model for over a year. like all other amt models, it goes together by first the motor, then the chassis, interior, then the body and all the chrome. the molding is crisp with little flash, the tires have good tread detail, and the glass goes in with little trouble. Painting went well, including all the body parts. The only trouble was getting the front of the body to stay shut without a gap in the door. this kit may be built in either two ways, also much like other Amt models.

The kit I received had a lot of flashing and some parts are not fully molded had to use green stuff to fill gaps. All in all turned out very nice.

This is a nice older model. It has held up well over the years of being re-issued. Depending on which issue you get you can even build it as a camper. The custom side exhaust can be left off and different wheels can be used to create different looks. Use some cardboard and scrap material and you can build a bed cover.
