"Great Kit! Highly Recommend!"

I just finished building this kit today (and I'll post pictures as soon as I touch up the paint, etc). This was the first modern car I've done. Everything worked perfectly with this kit. That is, all parts fit together perfectly. Instructions were crystal clear. This was only the fourth model I've completed, so it was a fun, complex build. The tooling was impressive. Other than the front fender not having much to hold it in place (which was easily overcome by wrapping it with a zip-tie until the glue dried), the parts required very little filing or modification. Additionally, I own a mustang, and the sheer precision of details throughout the kit was impressive. Honestly, every part of the model is perfectly representative of the actual car. (Coincidentally, I had to work on my actual mustang at the same time I was building this mustang. The wheels, brake system, drive-train, etc, were surprisingly identical.) In any case, if you're a fan of mustangs or modern cars, in general, you'll love this kit!

I built a replica one of these for a friend of mine that has one. I did it just like his. It turned out great and he really enjoys it. The only problem I had was putting the interior in. The dash was hitting the windshield and the interior would not go in all the way for the chassis to sit flush under the car. I had to trim the dash a little and position it in a different angle to get it to all go together. It turned out great once I was done with it.

I have purchased two of these because it is a excellent kit. This is a great model that is not to complicated to put together. I found that all the parts fit perfectly, one also reserves allot of decals and chrome parts with this model. All the extras add a nice touch. The only complaint I have is that this model doesn't come with a passenger door windows, this isn't a big issue since one can scratch build those, but it would have been nice. It is also worth to mention that this doesn't come with a radio antennae. Besides that it is a perfect model. It is nice to know that one doesn't need to struggle with frustrating parts that don't want to fit. Another bonus is that you hardly will need any putty. Actually I didn't use on drop of putty for the both models I build. I think this is a fun model one can make allot out of.
