Description
The CH-47 is a large troop carrying helicopter with an unconventional layout - it has two main rotors rather than the usual main rotor-tail rotor combination. Designed by Boeing-Vertol, the Chinook is one of the most widely used helicopters in the world today, having been in service since the 1960's. It is primarily used for carrying troops and supplies.
