"Reasonably Priced Model Kit"

Revell older kit with plenty of extra flash especially on the clear parts. Not the best kit and pretty good for younger modelers as the quality is limited in my opinion. The result was okay but not the best and really put me off from cheaper Revell small scale airplanes.

"Good Deal"

For the most part this is a terrific kit. The cockpit detail and the fit of most of the parts were excellent, especially for the scale and the price. There were, however, a few let-downs: there was a moderate amount of flash, and some pieces -- like the tropical filter and the cannons -- were sloppily molded and detract from the appearance of the finished product. There are two decal options: one is for an aircraft in North African camouflage, the other is for Southeast Asia, with white stripes for the wings and tail. The decals are pretty good quality, but getting those stripes to fit properly might take some fiddling. Bombs and drop tanks are included, requiring some drilling. I've found similar frustrations in other Revell kits. They're generally decent, even excellent, but a few little bits and pieces are totally unsatisfactory and almost ruin the experience. They take a little more care and effort, but the end result should be a good one.

This was an outstanding model. Got two and they are particularly excellent kits of early variants, especially suited for North Africa 1941-1943. They are typically excellent fit as per Revelle Germany standards and are a credit to any collection. They are NOT beginner kit but are very good for the experienced modeler.
