"Another great kit from Tamiya"
Tarasdad (Lancaster)
Tamiya has done their usual excellent job with this kit. The parts are well molded with no flash and minimal mold parting lines. Construction is straightforward with no trouble spots. The included figures have great detail and go together easily. Highly recomended!

"Unknown Popular Item"

Personally, I had never known of this vehicle. With nearly 12,500 manufactured it was useful in the Whermacht. An air cooled engine propelled this four wheel drive with a ground clearance of 27 1/2 inches. The images I googled show the soldiers seated comfortably. My Tamiya seated figures ( from other sets) are crowded and I cannot get eight of them in there. A version, the Commander's Cabriolet had the car body manufactured by the German company, Glasser. (that a had two dots) The overall production was halted in March of 1944, resuming again in August of 1944. This was a versatile, useful, and popular item in the army and other branches. This is another item that proves the German Army had vehicles other than tanks
