Very tiny model, but detailing is great. Back seat is good for small supplies.

PROS: Fast and simple build. Everything fits exactly like you'd expect from Tamiya. The vehicle is really, really small so this kit makes for a good weekend project. A painting option for a civilian vehicle is included, as is a set of opened windows, if you wish to displat the vehicle that way. The vehicle body is moulded as a single piece. Dashboard decals are included. CONS: Interior detail is sparse, no engine is included, there is no option to leave the canvas roof up. No accessories (jerry cans etc) are included in the kit. Tread pattern on the tires is very shallow, and some detail is chunky such as the thick mud flaps and windshield wipers. Painting instructions aren't very thorough regarding the interior; you'll have to find some good photo references or guess what exactly needs to be grey, black, or upholstery-colored. Limited paint scheme options. Some pin marks. THE BUILD: The kit consists of about fifty medium-grey parts, plus a clear sprue and a single driver figure. There is virtually no flash whatsoever, but four notable pin marks are present on the interior of each door (and two on the back of each seat), so some work is required to fill and sand those. The interior is sparse but so was the real thing. The kit is definitely simple, and it can easily be constructed in an afternoon. Everything fits extremely well, but the steering mechanism is finicky and difficult to properly install. Otherwise, everything fits perfectly. Be sure to note which tires are front and rear; there is a slight difference on how deep the front/rear wheels will fit onto the axles. I chose to fill the trunk with jerry cans; four jerry cans will completely fill the back of this tiny vehicle! The driver figure is up to Tamiya's usual standards. OVERALL: This is a great kit for the price, especially if you aren't extremely picky about very fine details or just want to assemble a fast kit for a diorama. The kit would be great for beginners and anyone looking to practice techniques! Can't go wrong with this kit!

Great little kit as always from Tamiya. Will be nice for a WW2 diorama. Even comes with a figure.
