"Tamiya's outstanding kit quality; and a spectacular motorcycle subject"
P. A. (San Fancisco, CA)
A word about Tamiya Model kit quality: If you have never built a Tamiya kit before you haven't experienced how well a kit can be smoothly assembled and look beautiful...and accurate (WITHOUT scratch-building skills). Having done a few car/bike kits I find their kit quality at the top of my building preference for pain-free model work. If you haven't built a Tamiya motorcycle kit, you're missing out on a true modeling joy: any Tamiya bike builds into a beauty...but this Limited Edition Ninja is beautiful, wicked and rare (there exist more plastic model kits than the REAL bikes-). Tamiya provides all the information you need to properly build and correctly detail and paint this bike; and you will NOT be disappointed with the mold quality, accuracy or decals to make your own Ninja H2R replica. Tamiya paint colors are noted in the instructions so that you can reproduce all the subtle tones on this Beast of a motorcycle: and you can admire it MUCH easier than owning the real thing (cheaper to insure, too). If you enjoy modern production exotic motorcycles, they don't get much more exciting than this Kawasaki Ninja H2R. Tamiya has made a beautiful kit of the machine which will build into a stunning replica...get yourself one (before they're as unavailable as the REAL bike).

ALL Tamiya kits are top quality. The 1/12 motorcycle series kits have no match.

"Excellent Build - Awesome Look"

This was the first bike kit I've ever attempted, and I must say I had a great time working on this kit. It's true Tamiya quality, and the parts fit was top notch. The only negative thing I would have to say about it is that there seems like a few parts could have probably been molded as solid parts to prevent seam clean up. I don't mind facilitating this kind of work usually, but in this instance, it seemed like it was just a blatant case of over engineering. HOWEVER, this was a very slight and minor issue, and the rest of the kit was awesome to work with. I stripped the chrome plating off mine and used Alclad Chrome instead. Once built, this is a sleek looking design and I would highly recommend it to anyone who's wanting to replicate a monster machine with massive power.
