I prefer thinning and airbrushing this instead of the sprayy can version, better control. Thin 1:1 to 1:3 paint to thinner ratio depending on air pressure, paint volume and distance from subject.

This is my Go-To gloss-coat for any kit with enamel or lacquer finishes. I have used it over acrylic paint, and it worked fine - just use very light coats at first and give the acrylic PLENTY of time to dry before you try it.
