Matte Aluminum Metal Foil

I use this mostly for masking canopies before painting. Details show through exceptionally well for trimming. Be sure to use a super sharp blade when cutting, though - dull or rough edges will tear the foil rather than cut it.

I used the Matte Aluminum Metal Foil to create the fender skirt decorations of my 1:18 Green Hornet's 1940 Black Beauty, so that they would have a different, less shiny appearance than all the rest of the chrome highlights on the car. As with other BMF products, good application takes practice. But your mistakes peel right off and can be easily replaced until you get it right. Once you've gotten the hang of it, you, too, will swear by this product!
