Spray Masking Stencil for Tank Wheels

It is certainly a better choice than masking stickers. I don't like that it's a $29 stencil, but at the same time it should be usable for many paint jobs before wearing out. It's not too flimsy, but it is quite malleable so it requires careful handling to preserve its form. I would recommend this to hobbyists that do a lot of early German tanks, especially early Tiger 1's.
