German Truck V3000S (1941)

Aloha, During WW2, Henry Ford's trucks were used by nearly all armies including Germany and Russia.This kit by Revell of Germany is an accurate example of the trucks produced at that time. While many of the parts are quite small (less than a grain of rice small),the detail is very good. So good in fact that at some point it will be difficult to pick it up without breaking something delicate off.This is NOT a model for anyone lacking good vision and patience. There are a lot of parts, the cab is 15 or more parts alone, and the fit is not always exact. Having said that, this is a good kit. You can learn how the real trucks were built because the model is assembled as the real truck was. No one piece plastic blobs here. It's little flathead V8 is a piece of art, the chassis is very realistic and the wheels and tires look right. I am thinking about building a civilian version of this kit once I recover from this kit (a red farm truck weathered out is what I have in mind). So....if you are an advanced model builder, and up for a challenge, you will be rewarded with a model that can be enjoyed.
