"Great model"
johnny.keim56
This model kit was the first skill 3 kit I had ever put together. The small detailed parts such as the door handles and mirrors made it a little difficult but fun. I really like how it turned out. I would recommend this model to anyone who has some building experience but maybe not a beginner.

"All good things in one kit"

What makes this kit excellent is the overall experience. The price, the quality and the overall result make this kit so much fun. It is a challenge, but that is another huge positive. The interior needs work, so I cut the door/window handles off and scratchbuilt them. I drilled out the armrests. I installed plug wires, and that really helped an already detailed engine. The body on frame was outstanding. The exterior is so elegant and beautiful! I would highly recommend this kit for anyone - even a ten year old!

"Maybe not for a 10-year-old"

This is designed for a 10-year-old, so I probably shouldn't say such things! The directions could be a little more precise. For instance, a 10-year-old might not know that you need to position the forward exhaust pipe BEFORE you glue in the engine. Additionally, getting the gear shift cut from the tree without breaking it, then finding it after I dropped it in the carpet, was a bit of a challenge. Once I got the steering column positioned with the gear shift above the dash, the column was not long enough to meet the floorboard. The dangling end is hidden fairly well by the dashboard. Overall it is not a bad kit---just not sure how a 10-year-old might fare!
