"A nice street rod"

I'll admit I love older cars. This kit is a wolf in sheep's clothing. While it looks like a classic oldie, the engine isn't. As for the kit itself the pieces are well engineered. The only problem I had was getting the body on the chassis. I had to tape it down overnight. The instructions are clear except for the dashboard. They do not show and painting details like for the other interior pieces. Also there isn't any detail on the dashboard. It would have been nice to include a decal for the gauges. Also you have to either make a copy of your instruction sheet or cut out a section for the patterns for the side windows. I don't know why, but it seems the kit manufactures are making the decals super thin lately. On this kit I barely moved a decal for the wood panels to put it in place and it tore in two. I had to spray the decal sheet with decal restorer. But this is a great kit for anyone who loves older cars. I plan to use it to pull my Kurtis race car and trailer kit. If you take your time this is a nice addition to a collection.

"my curtis midget hauler."
this is a little sleeper. this is a custom build and not a stock build.nice detail's like fuel injected flathead, separate frame and floor pan, retro mag's and low profile tire's. interior is nicely done. not too happy with the side window's a they come as a flat clear sheet you will have to cut to size, but other than that, it should go together nicely.

"Really nice '41"
qualifyin (SoCal)
I had the advantage of using an actual restored '41 Ford for a reference. I had no idea of the options offered for body color, interior colors, even colors of door handles and dash knobs. Believe me, I spent a lot of time talking to a guy who knows A LOT about V8 Fords. He also has many reference books so I was able to get things down pretty accurately. For the model it takes a lot of work to get the paint, wood, and top looking good, but the model came out really nice. The guy with the real '41 was glad to take it off my hands and it is now in his display case in his living room.

"Lots of flash and missing a tree"
I was very excited to get this model. However, upon opening every tree had excessive amounts of flash. Started with the basic build of engine and other parts when I noticed that a tree was missing. There is no instrument cluster, steering wheel, steering column, and a few other parts. I do not work on more than one model at a time, so I know I did not misplace it.

Due to small parts that could cause a choking hazard please kee away from children 3 years of age and younger.
