"Western star semi"
I love semis and this is definitely a kit i like it goes good for my diorama of truckers this diorama features many trucks in a yard where they will eventually make their next stop and when I saw this kit I had to add it to the diorama this kit looks very nice and will look even nicer when I get a trailer behind it this kit is very nicely detailed and i love it i might just pick up a second one for the diorama PROS: nicely detailed, fun to build, gives you a challenger, minimal to no flash CONS: Kind of expensive depending on your budget if you are thinking of picking up this kit but don’t have a lot of money don’t stress it cause the Pete 359 and Kenworth W900 from Revell are also just as good but if you do have the money pick it up it is really an awesome kit and you will be satisfied and will do well for dioramas

"memories of the 70's"
Kevin (Texas)
First attempt at building an AMT big rig since I was a kid back in the 70's. Had a great time building it the second time, since then have bought all big truck models AMT reissued. Getting the frame squared and straight was the only trouble I ran into. Took extra time to get it right. Other than that everything went together very smooth with ease. A little flash clean-up but no more than to be expected. A tanker trailer will eventually go behind this rig. Have started my second truck the Kenworth 123 cabover.

"Fun To Do"
intarsia58 (Harrah, OK)
This is one of those models that has a few quirks about it but for the most part it was fun to paint and assemble. One of the quirks was the rear suspension (Hendrickson), so this time I assembled all of the suspension, and axles were installed, and to pieces that didn't require paint I taped off. Fun model.

"nice older kit, the detail is not up to today's standards"
This is a nice older kit. The detail is not up to today's standards, but it is molded well. The parts take a bit of cleanup to get the mold seams dealt with. When you build the frame, be sure you get it square. if it is off a little it will cause a lot of fit problems. Before the glue totally dries, I just fit it into a small carpenters square and adjust it. This truck can be build with or without the sleeper.

Due to small parts that could cause a choking hazard please kee away from children 3 years of age and younger.
