"killer rocket"

If you want to start flying mid power, look no further! Great little rocket! Easy to assemble, VERY strongly built. Plastic fins will survive any crash, fin/motor mount assembly bullet proof. Built in ejection gas cooling mesh a great plus that no one else has. I just bought 8 kits, 4 Aerotech, 2 Estes, 2 LOC Precision. Sorry guys, but these Aerotech kits RULE.

"Predictable airframe"

The baffle system makes reloads fast. I have been running mostly 24mm motors. been great on E30-4T, F32-6Ts. the E is a little low, but the E30 really makes it scoot off the pad. F32 was getting up there...I am so so on the motor clip. Mine broke off before I even got it up once. We reattached the broken section using JB weld and wrapping of kevlar thread (fly fishing) around the motor clip and the broken section. seems to be holding. This did everything it was supposed to. went up straight, came down unharmed. The instructions were a bit confusing - took me a while to figure out the extra bits for the 24 to 29mm conversion tube. none the less this rocket will likely accompany me regularly to the field, as I really liked flying it. Good mid-power rocket.

"Awesome intro to mid-power rockets"

This is a fantastic kit for getting into mid-power rockets. The build is very easy even for beginners. Requires only CA to put together, the fin-lok system is great for getting perfectly aligned fins. The resulting rocket looks and flies great. The baffle system requires no recovery wading, keeps the parachute safe from ejection charge gasses. The large payload compartment is great for carrying altimeter. I've launched it on a variety of E, F, and G motors. My last flight on G40-10 motor hit over 2200 feet.

"One Sweet MPR"

I have built a number of MPR rocket kits from various manufacturers. The Arreaux is an easy build. The fins are tough, warp free plastic that use a unique lock to motor tube design. I used a small amount of 30 minute epoxy for mounting the fins. I added an Aeropack 29mm motor retainer. The elastic shock cord was replaced with a longer nylon harness as personal preference. The ejection system works as advertised, but I did use some wadding just in case as I use use a Jolly Logic chute release. First flight was an Aerotech single use F20-7. Perfect motor for this rocket. Zero rotation all the way to apogee. I have since replaced the launch lugs with mini rail buttons due to rail whip experience. Pros: Great entry to MPR from a build standpoint, easy to finish...no wood fin grain to deal with, impressive looks, great flyer, great packaging. Cons: None from a typical MPR kit perspective..... easy to remedy if you are picky.
