F-14D Super Tomcat

Exceptional kit Don't just buy one, pick up 2 or 3 of this beautiful kit. Fit is excellent and brilliant engineering places a majority of the joints along natural panel lines reducing sanding. I really am amazed at the fit, pieces can be dry fitted and stay in place as if they are glued. I had to fill the join line of forward cockpit to the main fuselage and a few sink marks near the wing gloves. Cockpit is well detailed and would look good with canopy up. Engraved panel lines are crisp and deep enough to hold a wash nicely. The swing wing mechanism is tricky and mine kept skipping gears so I had to glue wings down. Be careful gluing in the cockpit, I managed to improperly align it, but it was to late to fix it. Kit comes with a full weapons load-out with aim-54, aim-7, aim-9 's. Decals are nice and only for one aircraft. I plan to buy more of this kit and use some aftermarket decals. I am finishing up kit now and will upload pictures when I can.
