1964 Impala Lowrider

What a great model to own. I searched high and low for this model. And finally found it. It is great to be able to customize your own model without having to build parts or to swap out from the what you have in your garage. So I had a blast doing this model and would recommend if you ever have a chance to buy do it you will enjoy

I have done several of these. I still want more of those... It's an excellent piece of guaranteed revell quality indeed Kit has 3 levels of shocks included. Low, stock or raised. All parts are meant to be used for one axle on that position that makes it possible for example to get rear end on the sky and nose to the ground or vice versa. Very easily detailed parts can be sawed in smaller pieces, so I detached these axle packs and used front left plus rear right from raised version, vice versa from low parts. That way I got front right tyre a way up from the ground like the real lowriders do. Very easy to get fron tyre on air because there's pretty much weight on kit's trunk. Openable trunk lid reveals hydraulic pumps and battery packs all included on this kit. chain steering wheel is pretty usable, and in panic situation those lowrider wheels are usable too. I did prefer on pegasus lowrider wheels on one of these, hoppin' hydros wheels on one and stock wheels on one... Those stock wheels are brilliant like the rest of the kit. You may very easily make a show stopper out of this kit, which ever way You prefer, a lowrider or a stock. I highly recommend this one, even if You already have one. You may do it with so many ways in no big efforts.

This is a great kit. The only problem I had was getting the back wheel wells over the rear wheels. Next time Ill shave the axles down so they fit. I took out the short springs, put in the long ones and left the back end up higher. Other than that, no other issues. Lots of extra parts. Very cool decals and lowrider parts. I used bare metal foil for all the chrome areas. Its hard to find in stock, modelers love this kit!
