"Only your imagination is missing from this kit!"
airdawgg (Bakersfield, CA)
A couple of years ago I found what I figured was the first issue of this kit as a fire chief truck, which included a cool camper shell, at a model swap meet. I owned the 1:1 version of this truck for 21 years so I had to have it but didn't want to pay the $50 asking price. After walking around awhile stewing about a Snapper for 50 frogskins, I bought it! A couple of months later, AMT releases this current kit for a whole lot less than 50 bucks,so I bought 3 of them, mainly for the cool raft that is included because I had a county sheriff's search & rescue project in mind. After that was completed, me & my grandson built his first model kit which he helped in painting & he snapped it together all by himself! That left two remaining kits,so after seeing a Yota flatbed rock crawler trail truck in a off-road magazine, I Googled Toyota flatbeds and to my surprise, there was a ton of them, which led to my latest build, a mild crawler. The last kit doesn't have a chance because I already have a real crazy design running wild in my head, the ultimate Snow Cruiser. The point I'm trying to make after all of this babbling is the only thing missing from this kit is your imagination. I find these snapper kits to be a great & welcomed relief during a long build because they are easy to assemble, detail is well defined & a good looking model is possible depending only on the time you want to put into it. I highly recommend this kit and I'm very stoked about my last Yota build!

"Good base to build on to."
gunslingertimberfalling
I found this kit and used it to make a Timber Fallers work rig. It was simple to assemble. And mad a good base to build up from. Details in the mold are fair but not exceptional. But it was the first Snap kit I've built in a very very long time. Only thing I was disappointed in. Was the kit doesn't have any shock and strut parts. And no side mirrors. Overall, it is a good kit to expand on, add to, and scratch gave whatever your imagination can come up with. It is however, just a little bit over priced for the quality. So look for it when it goes on sale.
