"Nice plane, but many fit issues"
cjosdal
This kit has a lot of fit issues, and i had to use a lot of putty and sanding to get it done. That said, it turns out as a good looking plane. The instructions and decals are great. There is quite a bit of flash, but it is easy to remove.

"Disappointed With the Quality"

I like Revell kits normally, but I figure this must be one of their older kits because it has problem with the plastic. First, there is a lot of flash, which I normally don't care about, but this was flash on small parts and was difficult for me to remove without damaging the part. Along with the flash, some of the molding is sub-par. One of the engine cylinders has no detail at all, but the other eight do. I added the missing detail as best I could, but I had to make sure that cylinder was under the cowling. The upper fuselage looked like a dog had chewed on it, this required a lot of putty work to make it look decent. I built this kit straight out of the box as I didn't think it was worth putting any extra effort with all the problems it already had. The wings were the easiest I have ever built, so it has that going for it. This was not my favorite Revell Kit, and I wouldn't buy another one.

"Tri-Plain"

My first tri-plain and I thought it would be difficult to build but was surprised to find out it was as easy as my other 1/72s.
