If you are looking for the Revell 57 Ford that has it all, this one comes as close as you can get!! Revell appears to have cleaned up the mold for the chrome trees to eliminate flash when they added the tailgate latch for the wagon. It comes with an all new interior with the Del Rio styled pattern on the seats. In an interesting twist not only does this kit have all the police equipment from the Model King Police Sedan, but the wonderful surprise is the Wagon also has ALL the Supercharger pieces from the Fireball Roberts Race car version as well so those wanting to build a street going Supercharged 57 Ford won't have to buy a kit you won't use just for the Supercharger. I look forward to building several of these!!

This kit is about what you would expect from a Revell--nicely fitting parts and minimal flashing. I did encounter one problem with the exhaust pipes. They must run atop the cross member of the chassis, and then fit underneath the exhaust manifold. Running them over the cross member, and then pushing down under the manifold created too much spring in the pipes, and they pushed the manifold loose from the engine. I had to trim the ends back a little to remedy the problem. If you choose the law enforcement option, there is a nice variety of decals to decorate: city police, county sheriff, or highway patrol. The selection of decals enables you to use your imagination within any of those options. I chose the highway patrol version, so I left the whitewalls off the tires, and the hubcaps off the wheels. Black wheels and tires gave it that high speed radial look. I think anyone would be satisfied with the possibilities of this kit. There were extra parts which I assume are used on the Gasser version available in a different kit.

It's a very detailed model. I love the details but I probably wouldn't recommend it to a beginner.

I liked building this so much I had to have two! One I completed in police garb, the second plain cruiser, both painted to match the cars depicted on the box! i would recommend this to any modeler as it was a fairly easy build! if you want to make a street rod you will probably need to find a different set of rims/tires from your bench stock. I just saw a drag strip version of this so I may be buying a third in the near future!
