"Will not look like the car in the picture"

Not happy with the model. The body was warped so I had to place it in hot water to straighten it out. The car will not turn out like the picture and I don't know how Fooze is allowing his name to be used on this rendering of his car. There is no option to lower the body over the Fooze wheels so instead if you use the Fooze wheels you'll just have a stock Charger with over sized wheels that don't squeeze into the wheel wells. To do this correctly you would have to open the wheel wells and channel the interior for the drive shaft. The hood scoop will not work correctly it's better to just glue it into the hood rather than have it sit on the engine. Final assembly required me to shave off parts because the body would not fit to the assembled chassis. In addition the hood did not fit to the body and had to be cut to fit. Overall I had to do too much sanding and cutting to get a car that actually looked like a Charger. I didn't bother trying to build a Fooze Charger that would have been more work than I wanted. It's models like this that discourage people from pursuing the hobby. If this was some kid's first model he would have given up and gone back to his video games.

My kit went together very well. The way everything lined up and fit together reminded me of a Tamiya kit. I did not build the Fooze version and did not encounter the problems as mentioned in some of the other reviews. This was the first kit I have built where the body was used needed before the chassis and suspension were constructed. Consequently, I hosed it up right out of the box because I experimented with an enamel spray instead of the quicker-drying lacquer I normally use. The paint ran like a scalded dog so I couldn't see investing the time to finish it since it was already jacked. BUT LOOKY HERE! AMT has started producing some shop accessory models! I got one of those sets, sanded down the bad spots on the Charger, slapped some gray paint on it like primer, and built a shop diorama around it. It doesn't have to look good to be under restoration! Overall, once I restarted building it, I was quite pleased with the way everything turned out!

I love this kit this kit is a lot of fun to build I love old cars so this is great for my collection this kit has a lot of cool ways you can customize it I want to add another one to my stash as this one looks so good PROS: cheap, fun to build, looks good, highly detailed, features a nice engine CONS: minor flash if you are thinking of picking up this kit then get it, it is a great kit for any old car collector and you will have many ways you can build this if I was going to give it a rating I would give it 10 out of 10 stars I am using this kit for a diorama I have about the first ever car show I went to my mom took a lot of pictures of the cars there so I build cars based on what was at the show and the beginning of my car addiction!

This is a seriously cool kit. I had a hood fitment issue with a Custom wired distributor I made but that's my fault. You'll love the interior on this car
