"Great kit from Revell"

This is a great building kit with just a few issues that I ran in to. Maybe it would work as in the directions but I changed it up a bit. Step 5 has you glue radiator and fan into place but could see possible clearance issues with the inner fenders when mating the chassis. I waited till chassis and body were mated together and the radiator assembly slid right in to place, just be sure to scrape paint away in radiator mounting locations while at step five. Your upper radiator hose can also be installed after sliding radiator into place for proper alignment. The back glass is a little tricky to get to stay in place also.

"Pretty Easy Kit"

This kit went together pretty well most of the way. Minimal flash. It is a little light on the number of parts, but some more inexperienced builders might find this preferable. There was an issue with the hood not staying closed. This could probably have been remedied with some sanding of the hinge pins before assembly, but I took the easy way out and just displayed it with the hood open. I painted this one pink with black interior, and added vanity plates to customize it especially for my wife. It actually turned out to be one of the cleaner kits I have built.

I love Yenko's in general but let me tell you this 69 Corvette with the Yenko package is awesome.

Nice model to build, make sure you do a lot of prefitting of parts (try fitting the hood before painting, you may have to trim some of the body) and you will love the results. The wheels and tires were hard to snap on for me but tweezers and a bit of muscle got 'em on the front, they were the worst to get without breaking the whole front end but the back ones were ok to get by squeezing 'em together. The decals are a nice touch since it's hard for me to paint the real fine logos and such.
