IJN 1st/2nd Class Transport Boat Waterline

These ships are very easy and are good beginner ships as they come with a lot of extra parts. There are extra float planes and AA guns. These are great if you loose a part which can happen real easy at this scale. The fast transport gives you an option on the cargo 5 landing craft or 2 Kaiten midget subs. The LST has 5 tanks 2 of those tanks you build this was a bit of a pain almost tweezer work pain the tank is in 4 parts the hull 2 tracks and the turret. The tank is the type 97 medium tank the other 3 are the type 95 amphibious tank. The LST also allows you to pose the ship loading gate open or closed so you can make a landing diorama. These 2 took me about 2 hours to finish as they are water line only kits. all in all very nice kits good fitting parts.

Theis models are a good start for the first time modeler. They are easy to build the inst are easy ia the paint guide. A model that can be painted in the morring and built in the eving.
