This is a pretty nice kit with option for standard or lowered height, a nice set of chrome wheels with fat whitewalls and a custom interior option.

"Awesome kit"

Overall this kit was a very fun build. Straight forward kit. Some options and choices along the way in which direction to take your build custom or stock.

A lot of fun. The instructions were very well done. I loved the options the kit supplied. Details were excellent and assembly was pretty straight forward. The finally assembly was the hardest thing. I suggest adding the core support after the body is installed. The only modification I did was to install a chrome engine 421 from a AMT engine parts pack I had in my parts box. I painted it Teal exterior with a White interior. I added plug wires and carb linkage. I would recommend this kit to all builders. Challenging but rewarding kit.

"Nice Quick Build"

I wanted to do a quick build to have the Catalina on my desk at work. Well we all know there is no such thing as a quick build, when the model is skill level 2 and above. After I slowed down and took my time, this car came out really nice. You have to make sure you do good prep work and make sure items fit before and after paint. This was my first model with a matte finish, and I was very satisfied how it turned out.
