Focke Wulf Fw190 F-8

This is the fourth Revell of Germany 1/32 scale aircraft model I have built in a row, and not one of them has disappointed me! I'm addicted to the quality of engineering in terms of fits, molded product and details included. This is another gem that comes with plenty of options that include two choices for underwing stores, sliding canopy in the open or closed position, engine cowlings and upper fuselage mounted machine gun cowling that can be modeled closed or open. Flaps, elevators and rudder that can be positioned, a very well detailed 14 cylinder two row BMW 801D-2 Engine, rotating propeller, along with nicely detailed undercarriage, wheel wells and nice recessed panel lines. The cockpit tub is reasonably detailed too and there are seatbelt and instrument panel decals available, should you choose to use them. The decals go down excellently onto a gloss clear coat surface and looked painted on when the final finishing Matt clear coat is applied. There are two options of aircraft markings available within the decals. This is a kit that I would say is an excellent Value For Money kit...a loaded box, lots of details and options, exceptional quality and all for a small price! I thoroughly enjoyed building this model and highly recommend it to the intermediate builder and upwards. I wish that Revell of Germany would bring out a 1/32 scale Hawker Hurricane to join the two 1/32 Spitfires they have available, they certainly have their A game on! Go ahead, don't procrastinate anymore, buy this kit, for the price, you won't be disappointed! PS...no filler was required during the build of this model!
