"One of '70s Monogram's best"

Monogram's 1970s kits were state of the art at the time, and the A4 was high on the list of great kits of the era. It still builds into a fine replica of the original, with petite details, good fit and accurate outlines at a fraction of the cost of newer, more expensive kits. With a little time and effort, this kit can produce a real masterpiece.

"Simple kit with realatively few parts"

The model has some excess flashing that will need to be trimmed but over all it went together pretty easy. Before I started the build I noticed that a clear prop-rod was supplied in this kit to keep the model from doing wheelies when placed on its landing gear so I added weight to the nose before assembling the two fuselage halves which worked well to keep this from happening. I did like that the flaps and leading edge slats could be set in the drooped position. The speed brakes and canopy can be built in the open or closed position. For an inexpensive kit this model is very much worth $12.68
