A very nice offering from Hobby Boss. Detail is good offering nicely moulded recessed panel line and rivet details.Cockpit detail is good as is the landing gear detail. Fit is excellent. The kit offers a nice range of armament and drop tanks. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. Decals are good offering 2 aircraft.1 USN ans 1 USMC aircraft. The only major descrepency I found was that the instructions shoe the aircraft with 6 Bullpup missels but it could only carry 5 and the guidance pod for the bullpups if my memory serves. Overall it is a very nice kit which will produce a nice looking aircraft. The only problem with the outline of the kit is it only offers the gear in the fully compredded postion, oleos fully compressed. This to me is not a big deal.Overall a very nice kit from Hobby Boss and nicely priced. I highly recommend this kit.

"Overall a really nice kit, but could be better"
I enjoyed building this kit but there were a few issues that make me recommend it only for experienced builders. The instructions are a bit vague at times and it takes some careful dry fitting to figure it out/make sure you've got pieces matched up just right. Some of the weapons options are not entirely realistic to the real fighter, but they are all molded beautifully and build great. The cockpit is fairly detailed but again, not 100%. A good photo etech set would do well to detail out the cockpit. It wouldn't hurt to add a small nose weight either, just to help out with keeping the balance on the nose wheel side. The kit's decals are gorgeous and work as well as any aftermarket set I've seen - though there are some really great sets out there if you choose to use them too. Overall it can be built into a really beautiful finished plane but it will take a little work.

Very pleased with the model. Had no issues durung the building process. Very unique design and looks good with rest of my modern aircraft
