"Amazing street machine"

Don't expect to build a stock version of this car using this kit. This thing is packed full of modernized street machine goodies. Independent rear suspension. 2 different suspension set ups for different ride heights. Comes with a nice set of cragars as well! The interior is incredible! My only thumbs down was the firewall alignment. Its a bit tricky

"Great kit, below average instructions"

This is an amazing looking kit based on an iconic hot rod. The pieces in this kit are great looking and the molding lines are minimal. The pieces went together pretty easily but as someone else has noted the firewall fitment is a bit wonky. Now for the bad. Which in this case is pretty bad. This car comes with a choice of two suspensions, the instructions show the use of a solid front axle in conjunction with an independent suspension. For someone without experience on independent suspension and reliant upon the instructions this could be confusing and hugely frustrating. Additionally from what I can see the included wheels (2 sets) won't even work with that axle! Also note that there are some pieces included that are not referenced in the instructions. With the exception of the suspension instructions this is a great model. The extra parts are great to have in the parts box for future projects.

"Awesome Car & Fun Kit, Yet Incorrect Part & Inconsistent Instructions"

This car is AWESOME.... However, buyer beware... I bought this kit from a local store -- without checking reviews on it first. The front axle was incorrect for this car (and all of the related parts) and the instructions are inconsistent. I had to end up ordering the correct parts from Revell. It'll be 6-8 weeks before I receive the correct axle. If you search reviews, you'll find that I'm not the only one with this exact issue. With that stated, it appears that quite a few people rate this model fairly highly; therefore, it could be a bad production run. Other than these issues, this is a really fun kit. I'll recommend this kit, but just don't be prepared to order replacement parts from Revell.

"Great Quality But Instructions Need Improvement"

Although this '37 model is supposed to be a modified version when completed, it is the most readily available kit for creating a standard production car. Some of the details are a collage of late '30's and 1940 Ford coups; however, it offers enough pre-1940 realism to serve my purposes. Typically, I build stock car models with custom modifications to represent various periods of stock car racing as well as NASCAR, often with the benefit of the original drivers or photos of the original cars. As other builders have mentioned, the wheels are a problem in this model along with a lacking set of instructions. Otherwise, the parts are detailed, well extruded and seem to fit together very well.
