"Airfix New Tool"

This is a very good kit -- with a few issues with the fit. Airfix's old 1978 Hurricane was a nice enough model itself, but dated and lacking in detail. This updated version has plenty of detail: the cockpit and wheel-wells are superb, and the surface texture is excellent, complete with the fabric wing of the early-production Hurricanes. The kit offers two different propellers, two canopies, and other options to make an early or late Mk I aircraft -- making this a very versatile kit for the cost. There was some struggle getting it together: the connection points between the wings and fuselage are quite narrow, and you'll need strong glue, some clamps, and a good deal of patience to make sure everything stays in place. It's not a perfect snap-fit, but it's not a deal-breaker either. Definitely recommended.

"hawker hurricane mk I pre-war"

As with all airfix models the inst are easy to read the color sheet is good. the pices fit will and little is need for a good fit. the decals are good and there is room to cut them out without risk of cutting a outher decal. as with most airfix models it comes with two set of decals. One for G.B. and Belgim. the only problem is that great care must be used went blaceing the decals for they will tear. But over all a great model.

"Headblown. Perfect!"

I've got this a few months ago, merely because it was cheap... I got my head blown when I saw the inside! I was hoping for a crude Hurricane, and I got an artpiece! its wonderfull! The cockpit is well detailed, landing gear wells very finelly detailed, absolutelly astonishing. It can be made in 2 pre-war paintings, and if you search for aftermarked decals, you can do the Mk2 version too. It includes 2 armour plating for the back, the wood propeller (from the early Mk1), but also the variable pitch constant speed of the Mk2. Pay attention that this is the version which still has the fabric covered wings... So, later versions do need more work to be converted into. Overall, recomended. Surelly recomended! Airfix done a great job!
