"Great mid power rocket"
jef955
This is a great mid power flyer. I have burned a good number of G64's in one of these. My only complaint is that the fins seem to break on landing a lot. A bigger parachute would help, if you have the recovery area for it, or make sure you have really good fillets that are well built up along the root edge. Overall a wonderful flyer. I permanently reduced mine to a 29mm mount, to save on motors.

good quality and fit on all components, changed out the shock cord and epoxied an eye bolt to the nose cone base

"Easy to Build, Perfect Rocket for Level 1 HPR"

I got my Level 1 Certification (NAR) with the LOC IV rocket. Used an Aerotech H123W-M. Drilled the delay to 8 seconds. Parachute deployed at Apogee. I used a larger 4' Rocketman Parachute so as to touch down easy with no damage to fins or tube. NOTE: The full 10 second delay cold have been used. As mentioned, make fillets on the fins for strength. The Center Of Gravity on mine is 28.6, measured from the nose cone. I have not tried a G motor yet. JP
