The Z-Tune's modifications have been realisitcally reproduced including large brake discs and diff oil cooler.
Meticulous craftsmanship including the front bumper and cooling louvers on the hood.
Vinyl tires, with realistic tread design, wrap around a set of simulated GT racing style 5-spoke wheels (a set of black and metal plated are provided).
Exquisite chassis and suspension detail.
Wide front fenders.
Well appointed exhaust system finished off with a large muffler.
Metal transfers used for mirrors and emblems.

"Tamiya Quality"

As can be expected for Tamiya this kit has crisp detail and well fitting parts, everything practically falls together. Mold lines are few and far between. Included in the box are window masks, mesh for the grill openings, and metal transfers for the emblems! This is a curbside kit, so no engine is included. The kit does come with two sets of wheels, the stock chrome wheels and larger black Nismo wheels, but the tires only fit the larger black wheels. This kit was fun to build and looks great when finished. Considering the ease in witch this kit comes together I can recommend this for all builder levels.

"Easy to build with LED lights"

Model kit is not hard to build and when you get it put together it looks very nice. You get 2 sets of wheels for the car. A set of black wheels and a set of chrome wheels. The interior and instrument gauge is detailed and easy to put together. Also if you paint the car Tamiya includes a masking film to place over the windshield to make it easier to paint the car. The only thing not in this kit is an engine. Would be better if they include one. But it makes a great place to put a battery in the car. Especially if you are going to build the car w/ LED lights and a on/off switch. Will include pics of car w/ LED lights after I finish the car.

Exactly what you would expect from tamiya. nice detail and no flash. it would be nice if it came with an engine and a movable hood.

Typical good quality Tamiya kit. The Z-Tune kit is basically a slightly modified R34 kit with different wheels and a different body. Lots of leftover parts from the standard kit. Because of this, the bottom side of the car is different from the actual 1:1 vehicle which detracts a little from the realism. Not a huge deal, but this does make it feel a bit like a mod-kit instead an entirely new mold. FYI this is also a curbside so no engine details whatsoever. But the included photoetch set and pre-cut interior carpeting really added to the detail and is an absolute must for this kit! The fact that they were included makes this kit a pretty good deal as well. Aside from this kit taking me a year to actually complete due to body paint issues, I really enjoyed the build.
