Nissan 350Z Track Coupe Sportscar

The eagerly awaited production version of the Nissan 350Z was presented in October 2001 at the Tokyo Motor Show, with official sales release started in August 2002. Retaining the nostalgic lines of the original "Z" that was released 30 years earlier, the Nissan 350Z, with its sharply cut front and rear fenders, became the number one Japanese sports car. The 350Z is equipped with a 3.5 liter VQ35DE V6 Engine producing 280hp and a 6-speed manual or 5-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission. The Nissan 350Z's aluminum arms employ 4-wheel independent multi-link suspension and feature ripple controlled shock absorbers that effectively absorb road unevenness to make this sports car both quick and easy to drive. The "Track" version is the most sportive and luxurious model of the Nissan 350Z.

"Beautiful car =, Easy to build"
Chris R. (Jacksonville, Ar)
All the parts fit perfectly. The parts are highly detailed. Painted the undercarriage with Tamiya paint according to the manual. Painted the windows using the Tamiya window cover with semi-black paint then removed the cover then painted smoke on the back window and rear windows - to give it a tinted window look for the rear half of the car. Painted the side mirrors w/ Alclad chrome to match the car body. Did not paint the car body since it had a nice chrome-look. Added the photo-etch decals on the body. then glued them down w/ Tamiya thin glue. Waited 24 hrs then used Tamiya wax to polish the car to give it a shine.

"Fun kit. Great quality"

Had a lot of fun building this kit. Decided to lower mine and add different wheels. Very good molds. Would recommend for sure

"Nice looking, no engine but plenty of other things to work on"
cmgventura (Ventura, CA)
Lower priced Tamiya car models do not usually have a complete engine, this kit is no exception, but the body offers so many opportunities for detailing that you will find plenty to work on. The lenses are a bit tricky to install, but overall I enjoy the look of this model and keep it with my favorites (my photo is the first user one). I have made a few Porsche Tamiya models using the same color scheme: silver and black, must be something I like. THe difficulty is not as high as others due to no engine work, but I still rank this high in quality.

"350Z"

Great kit but no options. I went with a paint livery I saw about 8 years ago at a road course race when it was still the continental tire challenge series. Great kit Two thumbs up
