"Nice build, but has its issues"
garlictoast97
This was a nice kit to build and I'm happy with how it turned out, but I was disappointed by the poor quality of the decals. They were brittle and did not adhere well to the model, and the ones for the underside of the wings were too large. Nonetheless, it's an inexpensive and quick build.

"First in a long line"

This was one of my first minis (1/72) and I truly enjoyed making it . I have made over 2 dozen WWII models of larger scale but I am committed to making as many of these little fellas as I can. I have ordered 4 more and can't wait to get them.

"Good for its price, but i would like more quality"

This kit is a very simple kit, less than 30 parts, altough that doesn't mean that is very easy to build, a lot of parts require sanding. The cast quality and the detail level are average at best. The assemble is OK, but it shows why is a cheap kit, especially the fuselage. If you want to complicate things, then paint the Lozenge pattern in the wings (decals are provided to help you with this, but halfway, they give you white decals with lines, to put in on one side of the wing, and you have to paint by hand the pattern...), and then put the wires in the wings (not provided by this kit). For the price is a good kit, but even as small as are this WWI kits, the level of detail and some shape errors, makes me want a more up to date level of quality.

"Fair Price for a Fair Model"

While this kit isn't as detailed as the Roden kits it is still a fun build. There are a few problems such as the wing join which needs some filler and the Tail which needed some sanding and fixing. My kit had little to no flash and actually fitted together quite well despite the wing and tail. The wing and struts lined up perfectly and provided a secure fit. Overall I would recommend this kit to someone who wants to get into WW1 Modelling ( I mean heck, it was my first biplane and I managed to build it up well!)

Comments

Due to small parts that could cause a choking hazard please keep away from children 3 years of age and younger.
