Junkers JU87 Stuka Military Aircraft Plane

The Junkers Ju 87 or Stuka ("dive bomber") was a two-man (pilot and rear gunner) German dive bomber and ground-attack aircraft. Designed by Hermann Pohlmann, the Stuka first flew in 1935 and made its combat debut in 1936 as part of the Luftwaffe's Condor Legion during the Spanish Civil War.

Although my final product looks quite fine and i'm very pleased with my performance (I'm still a newbie to modeling), This particular product from Lindberg is precisely what you paid for. It's cheap for a reason. NO CoCkpit, just two seats to plug into to the fuselage. The parts are white plastic, but that was no issue (I was worried that i'd need to prime it, but I didn't have to). At least it came with two figurines for the pilot and gunner, which is more than I can say for some other companies. This kit has very few pieces, but some of the pieces fit so well that you dont even need glue, which is always a plus when u have prepainted the parts. All in all, Im pleased with my purchase, but for those of you out there looking for a challenge, you won't find it here. It took me no time to finish this baby off, and im a rookie.

few parts - some good detail on panel lines - looking for a quick build this is it - this was a gift to me but I would have chosen a 1/32 scale for this aircraft - recommend for a beginner

"A Good Afternoon Kit"

Lindberg has a good kit here for beginners as well as those with lots of model experience. In my estimation this is a good kit for an afternoon building and painting session. I have completed the entire model and have it ready for the German camouflage paint as the Germans always had zig-zag patterns on their aircraft. There is a little flash and some of the parts need some sanding but not very much and the fit of the parts is fairly good. I would recommend this kit to beginners and experienced model builders alike just to have fun!

Very simple plane, one A3 sheet was all the instructions you get, which was enough as there isnt much to this plane. It went together well enough, but when you compare this to some of the equally priced Revell-Monogram kits you feel value for money isnt quite where it should be. There was an amazing amount of flash with this kit, the end result is fine but this was $3 more than some of the other kits I've done and doesnt feel like it was worth the extra.
