The P-40C Tomahawk is an early model of the Curtiss Wright P-40 series. The first flight of the Tomahawk was on April 10, 1941. It was equipped with a new fuel supplying system and much more advanced radio equipment. Of the 16,802 P-40s, 1,705 of them were the "C" type. I purchased this kit in March of 2020, when I decided to start model building again. I built it in 2020 also so this is a late review. The model was packaged very well the parts were of excellent quality and the instructions were very clear. it went together quite well very little over flash to trim. The pros with this kit are quality, instructions are clear, and the price is very good. I have no cons for this model at all. it was the second model I have done in over 40 years. Over all I was very pleased with the result.

Just Finished Academy P-40C War Hawk Fun build all parts fit great, and the finished product is great looking. The Instructions was the only Problem It was just pictures with numbers to follow by, and there were extra parts that did not fit anywhere But It was still a great build. I would recommend this build

A great model to build, everything fit perfectly with minor trimming. Easy to follow instructions and paint scheme. Enjoyed building this plane...finished product looks great...if you're into WWII aircraft, build this one.
