When I opened the box, wow, nice kit. Lots of small piece, plastic, resin, photo-etched and even paint mask. It will be fun to build with lots of details.
But surprise, first after building the frame (cage) and rebuild it many times it did not fit in the two half of the fuselage, needed a lot of filing and sanding to finally doing it. And the radial motor is too big for the cowling, again back to filing, sanding for a near “perfect†fit. And a lot of putty also and…back to filing and sanding again.
For the Window (clear parts), they are too large, a lot of sanding required for a nice fitting.
The wings are the best part, they went on easily for a nice fit.
I add some details for a nice plane, for the first Lysander built in Canada at the National Steel Car Factory in Malton, Ontario, august 1939.
Definitely not a kit for the beginner.
