Absolutely gorgeous kit...there are no critics...as I've mentioned before, the kit is just great, much more than you expect from anow under $20 kit. The quality of the parts, the fitting, Tuesday attention to detail, beautiful cockpit and very nice detailed engine. The engraving is super. As you can see in my pictures, I cut the cowling in have and added some details so it might be possible to appreciate the engine.. It is a great kit for the value. About the paint, I've also tried to mat6the cream color but finally painted white witch also looks great... Decals are superb.... Don't let this kit out of your collection and enjoy building a super nice kit

"good quality kit"

i have not built this kit yet, have opened the box and looked through the kit, test fit a few things. kit seems like a good build. instructions are clear and give details on rigging the wires if you are inclined to doing the detail work. looking forward to this kit making its way to the building table.

Not sure if it is a hard to find color, but I couldn't find cream at a store so I had to use a close substitute that worked well. There were also a couple of pieces that didn't fit together well but overall I enjoyed the plane and would recommend it as long as you don't get frustrated easily, since it is small.

I'm giving four stars to this kit as it does take patience with part alignment and small size in general. I converted mine back to an U.S.Army trainer, the original aircraft in the series, The Primary Trainer, for the Army and Navy, with many still in use as the model reflects. I therefore left off the wheel covers and some of the cowling, which exposed the engine, leaving it as in military service. Overall the model is very detailed in the cockpit, but that is covered up and the engine should be left open as well to view the details. I finished my model with acylics an aftermarket decals to represent a U.S. Army training aircraft of the 1930s. I recommend this kit to advanced modelers.
