Mitsubishi A6M5/5a Zero Fighter Zeke Aircraft

Picked up this kit based on other reviews and Tamiya reputation. It did not disappoint! The fit of parts is simply amazing. The accuracy and detail are such that I did not need aftermarket parts other than the Tamiya DP set. I highly recommend this kit for for a low stress build and uber amounts of satisfaction.

This is by far the best Tamiya kit that I have encountered and by far the best representation of this nimble little fighter on the market. No overfash present and the parts came off the sprues cleanly, with minimal cleanup required. The build is smooth with clear instructions, and the result a highly detailed aircraft that will look great on display. I especially liked the fact that the landing gear bays were not built into the wings allowing the simple addition of after market bays for those who want to take that route. I decided to go with the in box bays as they seemed accurate and realistic enough to suite. The inclusion of canopy masks was yet another unexpected treat and makes painting the canopy frames a breeze. All in all I highly recommend this kit as an enjoyable build to anyone.
