I had this one, built it, and trashed it... It is not a bad kit, but painting it didn't went that well... Worst: the decals on mine were ruined... ended up in smaller parts. I do recomend it, but before building it, check if the decals are ok. If it is from an older stock, you may need to ask for new to Tamiya.

This is my second Tamiya kit and I'm still impressed with them. This kit went together very well there is no flash or mold lines to speak of. The kit is molded in color but I painted mine anyway for a better finish. Really the only complaint I have is that the decals are kind of flimsy so great care has to be taken or the decals will tear. I think that these kits are very well made and this one even has an engine and removable hood. So I know these kits are a bit pricey but they are worth the money. Fit and finish is very good and the instructions are easy to read and understand.. I can't wait for next Tamiya build.. I do recommend that you have some modeling skills for a good finish just because the decals are a bit difficult. This was my first race car and now I want to do more so if you like this model I recommend you get it its well worth it.
